Once upon a time there was "C'ero anch'io": when the web was not so widespread and there were no smartphones, Barcolana kept track of its owners by publishing a booklet, which every year listed the number of investments for every boat and every shipowner.

Saturday dedicated to outings at sea to test the race course and join the crew in a fun workout. In the evening relax in the city between the banks full of sailors and locals on the seafront. The Regatta will start on Sunday, October 13th at 10.30 am between the Barcola Embankment and the Miramare Castle to then cross the finish line in front of the wonderful Piazza dell'Unità di Trieste.

In 50 editions, the Barcolana told stories of the sea, of passionate sailors and of a magical city that, on the second Sunday of October, becomes the international capital of sailing. For the 50th edition is expected to beat the previous record and certainly go beyond 2,000 boats: do not miss!
