The photographic project was born as a tribute by photographer Sandro Miller to thirty-four masters of photography. In each of the sixty-one portraits by Malkovich presented in the exhibition, the actor personifies the subject of a famous photograph, transforming himself into different characters from time to time.
Each work reproduces in all the details the photographs taken as a model, enhancing Malkovich's chameleon skills and mimetic ability so that from time to time he changes not only in expression, but also in sex or age. The exhibition documents the work undertaken by Sandro Miller and Malkovich in 2013.
The first fundamental shot that gives life to the entire project is the one in which John Malkovich reinterprets the photograph of Truman Capote portrayed by Irving Penn.
